The FW 2011-12 Collection

An intimate glance at Tamara Kaboutchek's Featherstone road trip through the sought after lens of Ricardo Tinelli.

As Tamara sets off in her Featherstone knit she thinks of the repetitive life she is leaving behind in search of a more enjoyable freedom.

She stops for a moment in her favourite Featherstone gilet to breathe in the countryside and create the music, which she has always loved before driving off once more.

However, no matter how perfect one's road trip is, it cannot exist without its momentary problems. The car breaks down and Tamara is forced to investigate the situation in her Featherstone mini skirt and boots; like any Featherstone girl, she attacks the the predicament hands on.

The car does not start but it is worn out and, as the night draws in and the weather takes a turn, she decides it best to let the car breathe and spend a night there, in the warmth of her Featherstone cardigan.

With her guitar in hand, the night passes quickly, as she lays in the comforts of her car and her Featherstone cashmere.

She awakes feeling refreshed and revived, despite the fact that like many a Featherstone girl, she is not innately a morning person. The car is working and as she slips into her luxurious Featherstone LBD she can hardly imagine the city life she leads.

But after driving for a while, she decides to stop and take a miniature walk to assess where she is and decide where to go from there dressed in her Featherstone shawl and coveted knee-high boots.

Soon after she finds a resting place and spends the next couple of hours there in complete and utter bliss; just her and her Featherstone in the tranquility of nature before, inevitably she must return to the city.

She can't take the countryside with her but at least she can take her Featherstone.
